Amazon's New Super-Fast Delivery: Get Your Stuff in Hours!
TUE, 17 MAR 2026
Hey everyone, hot off the press! Amazon just announced some major news about its delivery options in the US. They're rolling out brand new 1-hour and 3-hour delivery services across tons of cities. Think of it like Amazon stepping up its game to compete with those instant delivery apps like Instacart or DoorDash, but for over 90,000 different items! If something you want is eligible, you'll see a special label next to it in the app, or you can use a new filter to find speedy items.
So, why should you care about this? Well, if you've ever needed something right now – maybe you ran out of an ingredient mid-recipe, or forgot a last-minute gift – this could be a game-changer. For Prime members, it’ll cost $9.99 for that super-speedy 1-hour delivery and $4.99 for the 3-hour option. If you're not a Prime member, it'll be $19.99 and $14.99 respectively. It’s definitely about adding more convenience, especially for those of us with super busy lives. They're launching the 1-hour service in hundreds of cities and the 3-hour option in over 2,000 towns, so a lot of people will get to try this out.
What do you think? Would you pay extra for something delivered within an hour or three? What's the wildest thing you'd order with this new service?
